Meet Your Hosts – Holly & Joe
Hi there! We’re Holly and Joe, and we’re so excited to welcome you to In My Gulf Era. Hosting guests here in Miramar Beach has quickly become something we truly love, because this place represents a little slice of the relaxation and happiness we’re always looking for in our busy lives.
We live in Massachusetts and are part of a big blended family. Together we have three kids—our daughter Callulah and Joe’s two children, Chloe and Connor. Our family life is often busy and full of activity, which is one of the reasons the Emerald Coast became so special to us. When we’re here, everything slows down. Beach days, sunset walks, and time together by the water are some of our favorite ways to unwind.
At home we also have a few furry family members who keep life interesting—including our dogs and cats (and a puppy who keeps us on our toes!). If you’re traveling with kids or pets of your own, we completely understand the joys and chaos that can come with family travel.
Professionally, we both stay pretty busy as well. Joe runs and manages several family businesses, including restaurants and commercial properties. Holly recently finished law school and is currently preparing for the bar exam while also working on several creative and community projects. One of Holly’s passions is building programs that support young people and help them feel connected and confident as they grow.
Because our lives are often full and fast-paced, we wanted a place where people could step away from the everyday rush and truly relax. When we first visited Miramar Beach, we immediately fell in love with the emerald-green water, the soft white sand, and the laid-back coastal vibe. After several trips, we decided we wanted a place here that we could return to again and again—and share with others who love the beach as much as we do.
That’s how In My Gulf Era came to be. We designed the condo to be a comfortable, welcoming retreat where guests can relax after a day at the beach, explore the area, and create their own memorable moments along the Emerald Coast.
